In face of the current challenge to initiate, support and promote the transformation towards sustainable mobility as quickly as possible, taking into account all relevant stakeholders and increasing inclusivity, we invite contributions that point out how human factors research contributes to creating solutions and promoting sustainable mobility.

The scope includes all domains of transport (road, rail, air) and both passenger and freight transport.

The Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

1        Human factors of innovative, intermodal transport, and urban mobility planning
HF in: planning and design of traffic and mobility concepts, innovation and optimisation of intermodal mobility, urban/spatial planning and land use

2         User experience and acceptance in designing future mobility
Usability, UX, safety, acceptance of transport services and mobility; user groups; accessibility and social inclusiveness; impact of culture

3         Traffic and mobility education, training and fitness
in context of innovative traffic and mobility offers, new transport regulations and legal frameworks, professionals in mobility; skills, capabilities and awareness

4         Interaction, cooperation and communication: implications for safety and
ergonomics
Interactions, traffic behaviour analytics and models, HMI, traffic safety and ergonomics, remote operation, automation and connectivity in mobility systems

5         Methods & tools for human factors and social analysis
Development of methods for HF data acquisition; participatory design methods; measuring public support; modelling approaches, evaluation and analysis methods
